We all scream for Ice Cream!

So, here's the scoop. My favorite thing about the summer is walking into a cold ice cream parlor and feeling the excitement of what I'm about to eat. I love ice cream parlors, especially old fashioned ones that you would find in the 50's. With the colored tiled floor, the bar stools, and welcoming open sign in the window. If you can't tell by now...I have a slight obsession with ice cream. Here are some of my favorite spots to grab a quick sweet pick me up during the summer:) 

1. Harvey Nichols. Flavor: White chocolate gelato

2. The Mermaid. Flavor: Cake batter

Rainy Day Reads

I'll admit it, I can be a real bookworm. There's nothing better than cuddling up on the couch on a rainy day with a cup of tea, a blanket, and a good book. These are some of my favorite reads, enjoy :)

1. The Pink Suit by Nicole Mary Kelby

Jackie Kennedy, my idol. If you're interested in how all of her incredible outfits came to be, this book is perfect for you. 

2. Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan

If you love baking and the sea, this book is a match made in heaven. 

3. Material Girls by Elaine Dimopoulous

This book is about two friends making their big, scheming, debut in fashion.

Farmers Market Outing

One of my far favorite things about summer is going to farmers markets. They're so full of life and positive energy. I just love walking around looking at the different stands, seeing what each has to offer. I recently went to this one, here are some great photos I got!

Summer Activity: Relaxing on a beach in Rhode Island or swimming in the pool with my friends.
Rainy day activity: Cuddling up, reading a good book on the couch with a cozy blanket. A few of my favorites are The Pink Suit and Little Beach Street Bakery. However, if you're in the mood for pictures...Kate Spade coffee table books are always a good option;) 
Travel Destination: Paris, definitely Paris! 
Season: Autumn
Ice Cream Flavor: Cake Batter or Vanilla...and it has to have sprinkles. 
App: Pinterest, definitely. I could spend all day on there.
Hobby: Decorating. I've always loved organizing and picking out pieces for my room. I'm constantly pinning apartment decor on my Pinterest board, "For my apartment."
